Quality, consistent sires bred by experienced breeders are no accident.

Sheikh El Nil is a "classic" stallion with an old world look that resembles his sire in many ways; however, the more he matures
the more he favors his dam's sire Imperial Imdal, in type, which is
no surprise knowing how valued the Imdal daughters are
as broodmares.
Sheikh
El Nil has intense Nazeer breeding & traces in 23 lines to
Nazeer making him 40% Nazeer by blood. He has 6 crosses to Ansata
Ibn Halima [31%], and 6 crosses to *Morafic through these sons & daughters: *Sakr; Nafairtiti, Ansata
Delilah (through Ansata Shah Zaman) ; Dalia++; Ansata Damietta (through Ansata Shah Zaman) and Ansata Nile Jewel; and
is double El
Hilal through RDM
Maar Hala and SF Moon Maiden.
Sheikh El Nil has much more to offer than just a pedigree.
He is playful, attentive and
people oriented in nature.
It would be difficult to find
a better natured stallion with a better mind.
He knows he is royalty and is a proud stallion with an absolutely impressive presence. |

He is proving
his pre-potency as a sire.

His get possess his classic
qualities: playfullness, gentle temperament, size, muscle and bone substance, long shapely necks, clean throats
and smooth, level toplines, fluid, scopey movement, long legs, short cannons, strong shoulders and hips (with trapezoid angles).
Their classic type, that mirrors the image of the Abbas Pasha - Ali Pasha Sherif Egyptian Arabian horses gathered from the Arabian Desert, is undeniable.

He is "baroque" in type
and is a powerful, graceful mover at the canter, trot or gallop, is tall, measuring at 15.1h, well proportioned, scopey, full bodied
with a powerful shoulder and haunch, has an adequately long flexible neck with a beautifully arched poll, long hip, level topline, plenty of leg under him with
short cannons, good bone size (8 1/2" cannons) and a gorgeous face
with big soft eyes.

Sheikh El
Nil has a somewhat unique outcross pedigree from a breeders aspect
when you note that he is non "Ruminaja Ali", non "The Minstril" / "Thee Desperado", carries no Pritzlaff breeding and no Ansata Halim Shah. He carries no direct line to Shaikh Al Badi although he
does have one line to a female full sibling, Nafartiti, through
Kachina Moon. He is also low Babson, low Moniet
El Nefous and carries no (Shahriar) (1956) who is '"pure' but there has been much confusion over the matter; also, there is no bloodline to Sirecho [Nasr x Exochorda]. All of these high quality bloodlines are Straight Egyptian and Al Khamsa but the exclusion of these from his pedigree, puts him in a unique group of SE stallions for those breeders who are looking to exclude some particular bloodlines and for an outcross sire for mares who have multiple bloodlines to certain sires. |
